What is counselling? Counselling is a talking therapy

Counselling helps you to unravel your own personal life experiences and
develop better ways of coping, allowing you to live the life you deserve.
Counselling can be a way of dealing with problems and reducing stress. It
provides you with an opportunity to talk to someone who is trained to
listen to your thoughts and feelings in a confidential and non-judgmental
atmosphere. It also allows you to explore problems and issues leading to
understanding, acceptance and empowerment.

Results can be achieved in as little as 3-8 sessions.

What do we mean by integrated counselling?
What is being integrated and by whom?

There are three major approaches to counselling and psychotherapy:
Person-Centred, Psychodynamic and Cognitive-BehavioralTherapy.
Many counsellors choose to work exclusively with one of these
approaches. I work with an intergration of these therapies.This allows me
to draw on different techniques and means I can offer a flexible approach,
which is tailored, to your individual need.

I am a qualified counsellor with a Diploma in Therapeutic Counselling. I
provide a professional confidential counselling service and am a Member
of the BACP (British Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy).
